Who this session is for
People who need more than one area addressed in a single visit, people travelling a distance who would rather come less often for longer, and people whose care includes compression work that takes time to do properly.
What happens in the session
Seventy-five minutes: a full-body drainage sequence plus either a targeted area or hands-on compression management. The extra time is not the same treatment stretched out — it is what allows the whole system to be cleared before the problem area is worked, and it leaves room to fit, adjust and teach compression rather than rushing it at the end.
How to prepare
The same as a standard session — loose clothing, water beforehand, no heavy meal immediately before. If compression is part of why you booked the longer session, bring every garment you own, including ones that no longer fit or that you found uncomfortable. Knowing what has not worked is as useful as knowing what has.
How many sessions you may need
Many people alternate: a longer session when something needs attention, standard sessions in between. Your therapist will suggest a rhythm after assessing you, and it is adjusted as things change rather than fixed at the start.
Questions people ask
Is this just a longer version of the standard session?
Not quite. The standard session focuses on the area that needs it. This one covers the whole body first and then adds a targeted area or compression work, which is why it takes the extra time.
Should I choose this or a standard session?
If more than one area needs attention, if you are travelling a distance, or if compression is part of your plan, the longer session usually makes more sense. If you are unsure, ask when you book.
